The Indian government might have abolished the usage of any royal titles after the country got independent but Padmanabh Singh doesn’t seem to need any to become the prince of everyone’s heart.
If you haven’t heard about this 19 year old Indian royalty who is winning hearts all around the world then you need to hustle and find out about Padmanabh Singh – the very young Maharaja of Jaipur who is also the youngest member of the World Cup Polo Team and the youngest winner of the Indian Open Polo Cup. The 19 year old king started playing the sport at the mere age of 13 upon his return from his boarding school, Mayo College.
This doesn’t end here; the Maharaja recently made his debut on the runway for Dolce & Gabbana in Milan Fashion week and broke the internet with his 2 minute walk.
Padmanabh Singh is quite the sweet heart of the international elite society and was even a part of the ultra-chic – Le Ball in Paris where he escorted Ava Philippe.
Singh has studied in one of the most prestigious institutions. Upon his return from Mayo College, He went to Millfield School in UK and is now studying liberal arts in New York University in NYC. But no matter where he travels, his fashion and style game is always on point. His simple yet classic sense of style make heads turns wherever he goes.
The 19 year old prince has rocked the internet and has given some major fashion and lifestyle goals. His bachelor pad Sujan Raj Mahal Palace which is used by the royal family of Jaipur is a perfect example of grandeur and opulence. The palace hotel has recently been reconstructed by designer Adil Ahmad and showcases a flawless blend of tradition and modernity.
After grabbing all the spot light at the Milan Fashion Week and posing with designers like Giorgio Armani, the model turned polo player and king seems to be following the footsteps of his great grandmother Maharani Gayatri Devi who needs no introduction. Maharani Gayatri Devi, who was the princess of Cooch Behar before marrying Man Singh II of Jaipur became the Queen of Jaipur. Maharani Gayatri Devi was not just a royal but a true fashion icon.
I guess being a fashion icon is also a part of the legacy of this royal family. We all cannot be the 303rd descendent of the Jaipur Royalty but can definitely take inspiration from his highness’s tasteful and classic yet eye catching outfits.
Who would have thought a Jaipur King can pull off a turtleneck so well? But Pacho (as the king is popularly known in the royal circle) didn’t let us trendoids down and gave us another style goal.
His top-notch style game doesn’t stop here. Singh being a royal doesn’t surprise us with this white Bandgala but still leaves us in awe.
Padmanabh Singh in spite of not being officially a King, doesn’t fail to redefine royalty in a modern yet traditional manner.
