VOGUE BEAUTY AWARDS 2018 brought the Bollywood celebrities together for a fashion roller-coaster ride with all the glam and damsels on the night of 31st July’ 18 at Mumbai’s Taj Land’s End. Where Raj Kumar Rao bagged the Man of the Moment award, Janhvi Kapoor received the award for Fresh Face. Kangana Ranaut personified style and grace in one go by winning the Beauty of The Year award. It was non-other than the dashing Kartik Aaryan bagging the Heartthrob of The Year award. Shah Rukh Khan won the title of the Most Beautiful Man of The Decade and Katrina Kaif the Fitspiration of the Year. With all these, most importantly the style statements of each of the celebrities were the most iconic ones to deal with this award season.
This year VOGUE INDIA coded their guests in all fiery reds, deep blacks and shades of gold. Here, we are with the highlights from the fashion corridor of the red carpet. Janhvi Kapoor looked divine in a Ralph & Russo cape gown with luminous makeup and romantic pulled back waves. The ladies in red made the event hot on heels. Kangana wore a Gaurav Gupta gown in Fluid Liva fabric, Dia Mirza walked down the carpet in a fiery red gown; while to no other surprise, Katrina opted for a scarlet Ong Oaj Pairam robe gown featuring a risqué thigh-high slit. Yami Gautam appeared in a sharp red pantsuit where as Raveena Tandon slayed in an embellished maroon Drenusha Xharra piece. The queen of Saris, Vidya Balan went traditional in black and the new charming face, Banita Sandhu chose a semi sheer Galia Lahav maxi for the night. Sonakshi smiled the way better in a full-sleeved golden gown, Nora Fatehi looked stunning in a black Gavin Miguel dress and Nushrat Bharucha shimmered in a Raquel Balencia gown. Ketholeno Kense stepped out in a printed Atsu number where as Richa Chadha picked an Alice Olivia floral skater dress. The men at VBA also stood glam-striking this year. Both, Zaheer Khan and his wife appeared in Falguni Shane Peacock. Rao experimented with a red velvet suit, Aaryan grabbed the spotlights in classic black and white and Saif looked dapper as ever in a double-breasted jacket.
