It is commonly said that ‘Healthy eating is a way of life, it’s important to establish routines that are simple, realistic and ultimately liveable.’ To keep the body nourished and healthy,  we need to eat a balanced diet and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The key is to consume the healthy food at the right time. We have listed down some of the healthy food  along with their correct time for consumption :

FOODS TO AVOID DURING THE BREAKFAST :

MILK:

It is a valid fact that milk is a wholesome, healthy drink which contains a high amount of nutrients. But, if you drink milk in the daytime it will make you inactive and lethargic as it takes longer to digest. If you drink milk in the night, then it will be appropriately absorbed as the body is at rest.

GREEN TEA:

The healthiest beverage on the planet, healthy people do not forget to have a cup early in the morning. Green tea contains caffeine that can result in acidity and dehydration. Therefore, green tea should not be taken if you are consuming it early in the morning. It is advisable to have it anytime during the day.

WHITE BREAD:

containing no amount of nutritional value and loaded with calories, white bread is one food that should be taken for breakfast. Instead, you can opt for a whole meal or seeded bread.

FOODS TO AVOID DURING THE LUNCH :

 
TORTILLAS:

it may sound like a healthy alternative, but it contains meat and cheese. As compared to whole wheat or oat bran bread, a tortilla is loaded with calories. It is better to avoid wraps and tortillas and stick to sandwiches.

VEGETABLE SOUP:

Despite being filling and low in calories, broth-based vegetable soups contain no proteins. Try to consume some complex carbs along with soup like apple or a small whole grain roll to stay healthy.

 A BOWL OF SALAD 

a bowl of lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes is not a full meal. A zero protein food, garden salad doesn’t keep you sustained through dinnertime. You need to combine it with some healthy fats or protein.

FOODS TO AVOID IN THE DINNER :

RICE 

To avoid the risk of weight gain and bloating sensation, one should never consume rice in the night. You can have it during lunch as metabolism is on the higher side during the day and it takes longer to digest.

 CURD

If you want to protect your body against cold and cough infections, then prevent consuming curd during the night. Have it during the daytime as it helps in the digestion process and helps in gut health.

BANANA

Bananas should be consumed during the day and avoid it all cost in the night. It helps to soothe heartburning process.
